In October 2009 I obtained the master's degree in Electronic Engineering cum laude at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" with the thesis on "Sviluppo di moduli DSC realizzati con materiali applicabili via dispenser industriali" ("Development of DSC modules with dispensable materials").

Since November 2009 I was a Phd student (fellowship holder) in Telecommunications and Microelectronics Engineering at C.H.O.S.E., within the OLAB (Optoelectonic and Nanoelectronic Devices) research group of the Electronics Engineering Department, at University of Rome "Tor Vergata". I was also involved in the project of the Dyepower consortium about the industrialization of the DSC for building integrated applications, like semi-transparent windows.

My work concerned the development of Dye Solar Cell (DSC) modules with Z-type series interconnection and the application of the dispensing technique to the process of the DSC or other photovoltaic technologies. Minor activities were the development of ad-hoc software both to measure the performance of photovoltaics devices and to elaborate the output data of these measurements.

I defended my PhD thesis ("Dye Solar Cell modules with "Z-type" series interconnection") in July 2013.

From 2009 to 2015 I was a researcher within Dyepower consortium. I was Work Package Leader (supervisor of measurements, tests and certifications (IEC61646) activities on large area devices) and Senior Researcher (simulation and development of large area devices).
