Lucio Cinà logo Cicci Research

Lucio Cinà is a post-doc researcher of the Center of Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy (CHOSE) of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". His research activity concerns the development of electro-optical characterization systems for hybrid photovoltaic devices. He also deals with degradation process analysis of Perovskite based Solar Cells (PSC) by using electrochemical impedance analysis and improved-LBIC mapping. In 2016 he founded "Cicci research", a start up company devoted to the development of advanced characterization system in the photovoltaic field.

Advanced Characterization Techniques for Hybrid and Organic Devices

A wide variety of different analytical techniques have been developed to characterize the properties photovoltaic devices. The talk will be focused on transient (small and high perturbation) and steady-state analysis highlighting the still open issues for Perovskite based cells. A description of the theory and practice of this class of optoelectronic measurements will be provided. Recommendations about the most suitable analytical techniques and experimental protocols will be presented.
